Refund and Returns Policy
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return with a valid reason.
A replacement will be given in case of any defect or damage.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at trulymetalist@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

For any refund for prepaid orders, we reverse the transaction you made and for COD Orders you will have to share the account details so that refund can be processed. Applicable COD charges are non-refundable and only product charges are refunded. A refund can take up to 5-7 working days to reflect in your account depending on your bank. Please ensure that the products are not used, altered, washed, soiled or damaged in any way. Return all original tags and accessories. Branded packaging should be returned in its original condition.
Damages and Issues:
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately on the same day via email if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please provide us unpacking video and images for it. We may not entertain requests which come beyond 24 hours after product receipt.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items:
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, glass items, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges:
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds:
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method (In prepaid method). Refund Initiation time may vary depending on the time taken by the courier partner to deliver the return item to us. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If you paid through the COD method you will be asked for the bank details and you need to reply over the same through the same id which you used while creating the booking.
Wrong Item / Damaged Product / Incorrect Size / Incomplete Product:
If your goods are damaged or one of any above conditions, we would be happy to give you the following alternatives:
- Replacement with the right product OR
- Exchange the product for an alternative of your choice of equal value OR
In any of the above cases, contact must be made within 48 hours of receipt of the products by email at trulymetalist@gmail.com notifying us of any damage to the product with pics of the product received and package opening video. We will schedule a return pick-up for the product. Upon return, the article will undergo a quality check to ensure the quality problem is found to be our responsibility rather than misuse or abuse of the product outside of our control. Once the returned product passes the quality check to ensure it is unused and in its original packaging stage, an exchange will be processed.
In case of incomplete products/items missing in the package, the missing parts will be sent after verification from our end.
Didn’t Like the product or quality / Size not as per requirement / Changed my mind / Don’t need anymore:
We ensure only the best quality reaches our customers as each product goes through a well-defined quality check process. However, these being art products and crafted by hand, please note that there may be slight variations in looks and finish. The colours shown on the website are close to the real colour of the product to the extent possible. However, depending on your display screen, the colours may vary slightly. In the case of handmade items like wall art and wall clocks, there may be minor variations due to the nature of the work.
Choosing the right product is the customer’s prerogative. Every product ordered on our website is prepared after the order is received. Therefore, if the product reached you in the condition and specifications displayed on the website, the company is not liable to refund/replace or exchange the said product.
However, if you are still not satisfied with your purchase you can return it within 7 days of delivery. Please mail us with the details within this 7-day period. We will schedule a return pick up for the product. Upon return, the article will undergo a quality check to ensure no misuse or abuse of the product outside of our control. Once the returned product passes the quality check to ensure it is unused and in its original packaging stage, an exchange/refund will be dispatched. For this 20% of the order value or transportation & packing cost whichever is higher will be deducted in case of refund as return shipping of the product. An additional charge towards packaging costs will also be applicable in such a case. The exception mentioned above will not be considered for this clause.
We will issue gift cards against the balance amount after deducting the Shipping and packing cost from it, through this card, you can make any purchase over the website for any items. This is subject to approval from the management.
24-hour Cancellation Policy:
An item in item cart can be cancelled only within 24 hours of booking made or before its dispatch, whichever is earlier, the cancellation of the same could not be accepted after that period of time.
Glass Items:
An item that is made of Glass or a part of it is of the glass-like chimney, mirrors etc. are non-returnable and non-replaceable. We take utmost care to make them reach you without any breakage but if it does break, we would not be able to send you the replacement for the same. It will be done on Extra charges only which will include the cost of the product, packing and shipping charges.
Unboxing Video:
Unboxing is an important part, once you receive the packet, we highly recommend to please shoot a video of the same with the label clearly visible, it will be very useful in case the product is defective. It is mandatory to while reporting any complaint.
Photos and Images:
We have tried to use as many real photos of actual products for you but there are some representative images which are shown for a better idea of the design of the product, please ask us for real photos in case you want to make it clearer. The final product could be a Slightly different in size, colour, and shape. The final product could be improved or upgraded version of the product.
These representative images are majorly used in Wall Clocks, Wall Arts and Wall Mirrors. As these are handmade products so the final product would be similar and not the same. Please consider the same.
Return Terms:
The customer will push for a return if the issue can be resolved with a replacement. In that case, a shipping charge (Both ways) will be deducted from the total amount, and the balance can be refunded to the customer (Not applicable to Canvas wall art). However, no cost is levied if the customer agrees to a replacement. Maximum one return is possible. Replacement will be shown and approved by the customer before dispatch.
Sale Items:
Truly Metalist keeps floating attractive sales, for this kind of sales, quality will remain the same but there would not be any return or exchange applicable, only repairs/replacement may happen in case our customer service team approves the issue. The customer has to bear the shipping charges in this case.
You can identify these sales items by their name starting with the ‘SALE’ word only.
